As some of you have read, my 07 OB G35x was totaled this past week. But the beautiful part of life is a thing called insurance, especially gap insurance, and so here I am once again a proud owner of a beautiful G. I got the 08 G35xS in ivory pearl this time with everything except the tech package.

The 8000K HIDs should be coming in tommz. Tints and stillen roof spoiler should happen all in the next month or so. Here are some pics to start the ball rollin...

 

Looking good! Though, because of your car, I'm stating to debate if I should have got the sport package on my X

 

To be honest, I think it was the option of the sport package on the X that really made me get another G. I was all but set to get a 335xi but the overall look of the xS in my opinion is 10x better than the 335xi sedan. Either way man, xS or x, these cars a thing of beauty inside and out.

why no tech package?

 

The 08 tech package only includes the intelligent cruise control and the adaptive front lighting system. The major reason I got the tech package in the 07 that got totaled was due to the fact you would be getting the rearview monitor. Now that the backup camera is included in the navigation package, I didnt want to pay $1100 just for those two features which I hardly used in the first place. Not to mention, I did not have great experience with the intelligent cruise control in the 07. It would pick up vehicles in the other lanes and slow down, was real annoying. Anddd one last reason is I think it ruins the look of the front of the car with that huge sensor sticking out. So all in all, I thought about it but the cons weighed out to be greater than the pros.
