great forum and helped me a bunch already. I was originally going to wait for the G37 sedan but Infiniti got to me. After dropping that APR to 0.9 AND offering $1000 conquest I just couldn't say no. Now I am the proud owner of an 08 G35 Journey with Premium, Navigation and Technology packages Had her for 2 days now and just cannot stop smiling every time I get behind the wheel. Now just hoping the mod bug doesn't bite...lol

congrats! Just got the same options. I was worried there wouldnt' be too many 08's with that configuration left in a few weeks when the 09's come out and I'm sure they won't be dealing on those for a bit.

The color I got is Blue Slate with Stone. Yeah I was in the same boat but the dealer managed to get the last one in Norcal. It already had 316 miles on the odo so I really didn't have a choice...but I did manage to get 1400 or so under invoice so I'm happy

 

Wow - nice deal. That Blue Slate was my first choice but no one had the configuration I wanted in that color. Great choice!

Yeah, the Tech package doesn't seem to have the demand as it's fairly expensive for the perceived value. I will tell you though, that the 3 things that it includes are actually well worth it! The ICC is awesome (some folks don't care for it but I've been driving an M with it for 3 years and use it whenever I'm on the highway). The best feature of the ICC, however, is when it isn't even on. It actually monitors the distance of any car in front of you and if it senses the closing distance is too fast it pre-pressurizes the brakes to buy you an extra split second of stopping power. That's saved my bacon a few times. All of this happens when you don't even have the cruise set to on. The pre-crash seatbelts are awesome and I've, unfortunately, had them activate a few times and they are great! And the adaptive front lights really do make a difference! This was the whole reason I was able to step into the G from my M because they moved all of this tech into the G. Now I have the sportiness and handling with all of the things that were very important to me. I think you will be glad with the options package you chose.

I ended up with Graphite/Graphite which was my tied 1st choice so I was happy with that anyway. It was the only color they had with the tech package.

Enjoy it - you definitely got a great deal and a sweet color combo! Finding an 08 with Tech in your color will be getting more and more difficult so I think the time was right!

Yea the pre crash tech was enough reason for me to get it. I will be driving highway a lot for my work and having that system just made sense, the ICC (i still didn't get to use it yet, break in) seems really cool and can't wait to try it out and freak out my friends
