I was not even looking to buy a car... went with a friend to look at some cars he was interested in. I noticed two G35s... I thought "those look nice". Test drove one and was hooked.

I ended up buying a 2006 a week later and I'm loving it. Whoever had this car prior to me took really good care of it. I test drove several and this one really felt perfect.

Right now the only thing I don't like is getting out of it.

How much did you get it for and how many miles (if you don't mind)?

I paid 21k.. it has 40k miles. I test drove several, most with less miles and at the same price range. This one drove noticeably different. Very throaty deep sound and more pickup then others I tried.

I really only have a couple things I'm going to change in the near future.

• Replace front windshield (did not notice the small pits on the lot)
• Not a fan of the Bose stereo
• Some small chips in paint, hood and front spoiler (this and the windshield make me think previous owner had lots of highway miles... I hope).
• I like the clear corners mentioned in this thread but yikes they are pricey.
