I never said it was a 4 door Z, but the suspension is interchangeable and the engine and tranny are the same so its as close as you can get. Maybe you guys need to read up on your own cars.

Welcome to the boards, Mike, and grats on the G! Don't worry about the troll either. In the famous words of Nacho Libre, "...it turns out he's a real douche!"

oh i see what it is, the 06 325i coupe was still the 2.5 liter 184hp, but the sedan was 3.0 215hp

also I think I was assuming all e90s were the 230hp 328i but I guess the 06 325 was still the 184hp one which is actually pretty slow so sorry for saying its just as fast, but i still think its a downgrade
Highly doubt ours look exactly alike. But to each their own. I still find it funny you own what you call an "ugly car."

Now move along.

we have the same year, same color, both still have the black plastic around the bottom, you just have larger wheels and clear corners and I have blacked out chrome grill and window molding

back to the 325i thing

06 e90 325i sedan
curb weight 3285
215hp 185ft lbs
20/30mpg(18/27 on the revised scale)
183whp at 6270rpm with 169 lb/ft at 3459rpm.
06 G35x
Curb Weight: 3650 lbs
280hp 270lb ft of torque
17/24mpg(18/22 on the revised scale)
can't find a dyno but a rwd VQ35DE non revup makes 220-230rwhp so I would guess the G35x would have 200-210awhp

so the G35x has a power to weight ratio around 17.4:1 and the 325i 17.95:1..not a huge difference, G probably feels more torquey but I doubt it is a whole lot faster

never said it was a whole lot faster just a considerable difference off the line and pretty close to even on the highway. you're in a fight with yourself right now, no one else. I honestly don't care if you think it's a downgrade, personally I feel as if it's not, if I did I would've kept the 325i now please take your negative contributions elsewhere.

if they were RPF1s which only look slightly different and originally retailed for the same amount nobody would say they were ugly
