new to the G scene

Whats goin on guys, Im a former honda guru, or ricer boy which ever you prefer, i used to own a 2001 honda prelude that was classy and not all jacked up and beyond the point of un-ufcking. But then came the time where every boy needs to become a man, and i went off to bootcamp, so here i am a year later, in the navy, married and with an 04 G35 coupe, with teh *** warmers and brembo brakes and all round sexiness.

im pretty level headed and ive been turnin a wrench since ive been poopin orange in my diapers. im a huge believer of built not bought, and im into tasteful modification and most of all practicality, now going less than 12 seconds and lookin good while doin it seems pretty practical to me >:].

i am VERY aware of how forums work, searching, reading before you post, and knowing rules of the road, or erm, forum. so i know how the tight knit bond can get, as in people driving 10+ hours for a car meet just to hang out with some friends who share a common interest.

im not sure if i have picture posting powers yet, but there shall be pictures to come!

Compared to the prelude, how much worse is the G35 on gas?

in all honesty not that much worse, surprisingly enough that little ufcker H22 ate gas like a fat mexican eats tacos, and oil, dunno why but those things burn almost 2 qts of synthetic every 1500 mi. my G gets like 17-18 city usually, but i did just run lucas and put a K&N drop in into her tho. but right after i first got her n burned thru the first tank in like 4 days at 210 mi, and filled up and crunched the numbers and i got like 11 miles to the gallon i decided my fun was over
