God damn, every G I've been interested in so far has been in an accident. This idiot told me he owned the car for 2 years and its never been in an accident. Good thing I paid $50 for the carproof but this is disappointing.
damn $50 for a car report thats alot... Theres a way to get them free on ebay lol. Also pretty much same around my area, every single G35 i find they are rebuilt..
I found out mine had $8G damage from ontario as well. Front Right corner. Whoever repaired it did a real nice job, and she drives true so im not too concerned. Those damn ontario drivers!!
Keep in mind, it doesnt take much to rack up $10G in damage on a regular car, n/m an Infiniti.

Yeah but Im walked away from that one since the seller was outright just a liar. There is another seller who told me upfront the car was in an accident and she gave me pictures of what it looked like. That was kind of nice to see instead of getting my hopes up and then seeing something like this report.

It's not hard to rack up 10k worth of damage on our cars
This was 8k in damage

Got it back from a quality shop looking like this

10 days later I was hit while parked by an 18 wheeler, and another 7k in damages

This is how it looks today. Point is, as long as it's repaired properly you'll be fine, but make sure the asking price is set according to the fact that it has been repaired.

What do you think. Before I found out it was in an accident we agreed on 7.5k. How much would you pay for this considering that report?
It looks like it was repaired properly. He said he ordered an new shift **** from infiniti and it was on its way.

yea ive bought my fair share of cars that were a total loss and its not bad. you just have to be cautious about what you buy. sometimes you can really get a good deal on something thats salvaged. just have an independend body shop do an inspection on it if youre concerned about it. they should be able to tell you if it was repaired properly. also remember that when looking at the price, they should be asking no more than 75% or the clean retail value of the car and its respective mileage. at least thats what most finance companies will allow.
