New Here...

Hey everyone, just purchased a G35 Coupe 2005 and will be picking it up this week. I went for the 6spd grey on black leather. I want to modify it once I pick it up. I use to be a Mustang guy and haven't had a toy in a bit.Looking at the basic, rear gears, intake Bassani exhaust kit, suspension and wheels. Any ideas from you guys would be great. Look forward being here daily.

I don't know anything about Bassani's products but intakes only improve the sound on these cars. Unlike American V8's, these engines do not respond well to bolt-ons. However, you may be interested in the MD MREV2, MD 5/16 plenum spacer, and a set of HFC's or straight pipes for performance. Your car currently has 3.5 gearing, most go with 3.7 - 4.1 since Nissan uses those ratios on other cars whose diffs will bolt directly up to ours.

Each subsection in the forum has stickied threads at the top that contain useful information. Modding these cars is not cheap so do the research.

Welcome to our world and Driver, G35.PRFXN! Yea he's right........bolt ons are only worth 30 to 40 WHP. At the top of the coupe page are a dozen stickys for your own benefit read all of them carefully, there's some very good information. I've heard Bassani systems on Z cars, sounds good. Post a pic of your G when you get er!
