Where do you live? I'm sure there are people in your area who can help you learn.

Scraggle. pics look exactly the same. The drop after a test drive last night was almost identical to where I was sitting on the D2 coilovers.. accounting for a little bit of settling that will drop a hair more and it's perfect.
I have a fender roller to use this weekend, just because my Rays 19s rub in the rear with my 25mm spacers on and I'm NOT running them without them..lol sunk in deep.. can't do that. The Rays are just backup wheels anyway though in case I have a flat on the Volks.

Oh and I just bought an Osiris tuner.. an MD spacer and E tune and this car is done. And I can move on to finish the 944 and GS300.. lol

The wife is ..less than thrilled.. this car was supposed to be my DD from the get go. But it needed a few things.. don't they all.

I made an update to the suspension thread.. loving the Bilstein/Eibach 350z stuff BTW.

Just checking in.. been a few 1000 miles since I added anything here and I'm getting to know the car. Getting to know that I HATE the 2500 rpm buzz of my exhaust. That will be my next project, designing a new smoother sounding exhaust. These cars can sound so good.. but that damn buzz kills it.

I picked up an UpRev Osisris, but I have not had the car tuned yet. I'm going to add a 5/16" MD spacer first, and finish the exhaust and borrow a WB o2 sensor to log a few runs for e-tuning.

The catch can setup is designed is working well. It is nearly time to empty it for the first time. Oil consumption has not been bad, using some but not extreme. Fact of life, sport(s)(y) cars engines use oil between changes. just don't let it get out of hand, and be aware of it.

So far I've sold the D2 coilovers, just sold the OEM 19" Rays forged wheels, still have a set of 350z manual seats to get rid of yet.. working out well.

Happy Holidays everyone.. pics will follow shortly.

If your car is a later 03 (after 03.5) you shouldn't need the widebands.

You mean later than May 2003 prod. date? I can't remember. Will look tomorrow. Seymore 4 didn't mention production dates, just said 2003 cars don't have wb. Makes sense though since June is new model year in most cars.

Yeah, WBs didn't come in til 05, but mines an 04 and was tuneable. Ask seymour4, he's the expert.

didnt think to look at the door jamb when I was with the car today. almost certain that mine is no WB though..since i replaced the o2 sensors.

issue on the way to work earlier tonight.. sunroof vented, cruising down the highway and all the sudden BOOM! and glass rained down all over me. Huge hole in the sunroof. No idea why. Some cars on the highway ahead of me, but not close really and a few lanes over. Woods beside the highway could have held a delinquent throwing something though..IDK it was dark out.

time to consult the FSM and see what it takes to get it out.. and find another one..anyone parting a car?

No, what I'm saying is yours is definitely not wb, but neither is mine (but i was tuneable). The late 03s and 04s tho are still tuneable. They collect the A/F ratios from the compiled info thru the ECU or something like that. I'm saying I don't have WBs but I have been tuned. Pre 03.5 has a different ECU.

Guess I really need to check that date.. but I have other issues now..see above.

I've also decided to not tune until I fully optimize the engine..spacer is about all that is left, besides re-designing the exhaust.

not wasting money on a tune that I will just re-do again.
