Became a G by Accident

Well, I guess I'm part of a cult now. I ended up buying my buddy's 05 G35 coupe auto because he was moving to the Virgin Islands. He was asking 2 grand and I was desperately seeking a new whip so I had to capitalize. Only 120k when I bought it.

I've been browsing these forums almost exclusively to troubleshoot some issues that I was left responsible for by becoming an owner of this vehicle, such as unreliable interior switches (window and sunroof), no trunk release besides the emergency method, UV damaged headlights, ridiculously stiff steering (not related to power steering), exhaust issues, etc.

Overall, this was a great investment. I've never owned a "luxury" vehicle before, nor have I owned anything with more than four cylinders. Alas, I've been driving standards exclusively for the past ten years and thought I'd enjoy retirement with the auto tranny, but I'm feeling nostalgic and miss my old shifter and extra pedal.

Anyway, hello, nice to be a part of the fam. I'll be finding my way around this place as I search for DIYs and other info, like a detailed 2003-2007 coupe change log. Google yields next to nothing.

Looking forward to becoming familiar with y'all.

I thought it was a log trying to make his way on the streets with just change after the gruesome slaughter or his entire village and then see's them again as a table used at a restaurant where he falls in love with a wooden fence line...

Yeah, pretty much this. As in, 05 they did a cabin refresh. 06 or 07 some kind of facelift if I'm not mistaken. Headlights and taillights looks different. Just curious as to the model-year changes year to year until discontinuation.

It's quite disgusting weather where I'm located unfortunately. I'll post some when I get some free time in the sun.
