04 G35 Coupe Black Obsidian 6MT / Brembo Brake Package
Just got my G35 COUPE 6MT in Black!

Hey there I recently got myself a black g35 coupe with the tan interior and 6mt on my birthday weekend, wouldn't say it was a birthday present but more of like a congradulating myself on getting through my first year of Nursing School, I picked it up off a lady in her late 50's who bought it brand new in 2004! super clean with 37K miles! Took me forever to find a decent G that wasn't beat on or modded by some punk 20 year olds, cost me 9K which wasn't bad I suppose... well here it is! my name is Andre by the way I should have went to med school i could have been Dr. Dre, but Nurse works too.

Gonna keep it stock for now, but might want to add a few ponies, ive heard ZTube, and plenum are the way to go.

Great looking coupe.! I wouldn't worry about the HP if I were you, but add some mods to the suspension.. The better it handles will make it way more fun than adding the measly HP your thinking.. Just my opinion. Enjoi it fo sho bruh... LOL

Dre major congratulations on your find. Super clean low mileage G's are super rare these days. I bought an 06 GTO in like new condition with 27K miles last fall to go with my G so I know how you feel.

Like stated above don't get caught up in the HP chase right off the bat..The VQ35 is well tuned from the factory and minor mods like plenum spacer and exhaust will add a touch more power but not enough to make a major difference, you need to build the motor, add a supercharger or slap on a turbocharger to add significant power and those routes are very expensive. If I was asked what I would do if I could only add one mod it would be sway bars. Cost you around $300 for the front/rear set and if you're handy with a wrench it's a very easy to swap them out for the stockers. Best bang for the buck mod if you ask me and I have over $10K in mods on my ride.

FCP4life, "Welcome to the G35 Driver forums!" Great find, low mileage and super shape along with being a beautiful OB coupe! There is one modification that we have all considered "Best Bang for your Buck" and that's Motordynes plenum spacer. It corrects Nissans design flaw allowing air flow in the plenum unrestricted by raising it 5/16 of an inch. Do a search for more information and ease of installation. Sway bars and adjustable end links are also a good idea but not as noticeable as the plenum spacer! There's nothing wrong with upgrading what you drive and until recently it wasn't done by gum chewing, pants on the ground 20 year olds.
