If it's just a DD that you want some more power from, SCing is the only way to go.

You are gonna want to super turbo charge, the biggest and baddest of them all.

Do you even know how a turbo works?

I do understand how a turbo works and I am more so leaning towards supercharging my only concern is with that many miles would every thing be able to hold up???

Everything will hold up pretty much except the shappler rod. Always wanna replace that before FI.

OP with 130k on the clock if you go FI you're probably just going to smoke what's left of the rings. Get a lower mileage engine (60k or less) or just start with a fresh rebuild.

I'd be shocked if you get 20k out of the engine if you SC it right now, if you TC you'll probably go half that

I知 running a littile low on funds at the moment but still have enuff money to do some upgrades to my car I already have coil overs and air intake exhaust system but I知 maxing out at around 125 mph could that be a speed limiter? would a ecu proformence chip increase top speed?

Hopefully those speeds were clocked on the track and not the local freeway If you are low on funds then DEFINITELY stay away from forced induction, it's an expensive game to play, stick to some budget friendly upgrades and remember there's more to performance than horsepower.

Do you have a plenum spacer?

Do you have a high flow cat (or test pipes)?

Do you have an uprev tune?

Those are the only engine mods you should focus on until you have at least $10k to drop on the motor to keep your forced induction beast from going kaboom. In the meantime focus on tires, tuning the suspension properly, and replacing ANY worn components like bushings. Upgrade your brakes if needed because it's more important to slow down than to speed up. Cosmetic improvements and repairs as well.

I'm not sure what factory governor limits are used on various models, my '06 coupe 6MT tops at 142 before I hit the governor (track tested).

Adding FI to a motor with you're kind of mileage, even a factory motor with 1/2 your mileage isn't smart...they won't stay together! Done right, you start with a new motor with a very solid bottom end, drive it for a couple K miles then add the FI!

Definitely get the ECU chip. Easily adds 21hp. That's real power you can feel! You'll be going 140 (like me) with that one single mod. No prob!

I've been 145, not sure why yours cut you off. Iirc the governor is 158. I remember because whatever I read said that natural wind resistance top speed is 160 with stock hp and the 2mph difference made me laugh.

My G governs out when my governor tells me, about 400 kph!
