Just bought 06 G35 Coupe

Hi my name is Kevin, I just bought an 06 G35 Coupe about a month ago. I got it for a decent price but it has 200000 miles on it. Ive already replaced the clutch, flywheel, o2 sensory, window motor, fixed the power seats and gave it an oil change

. This is a great car and i dont mind the miles because its a good opportunity to learn to rebuild cars. Im glad there are forums to help because I am new and have a lot of questions and am in need of advice on what to replace and when to replace it.

Thanks. It is in decent condition. Previous owner i think lat it sit and didnt maintain it very well cause the oil didnt even show up on the dipstick. Im trying to figure out what needs replacement and whats fine. Any recommendations so i can replace things before they break not after. Timing chain first or what usually need to brle replaced by this time of 200000 miles

These engines are notorious for burning oil. So its not uncommon for your oil level to drop below your dipstick between oil changes. I would suggest checking it every 1000 miles or so and topping it off when necessary.

And another tip: Oil should be checked when engine is cold.

So yeah the title said 200,000 but i found out the odometer actually works its just so dim you cant see it unless you get really close and in the dark. Its 152,000 which is alot better then 200,000.
