My boss was telling everybody at work "Hey, I'm selling my G for $2500". I figured it was thrashed when others were not interested.
It took me a while to ask him about it, but he said that it was in good shape*.
So, I finally looked at it. It is not in good shape. it is in GREAT shape. No drips or leaks from engine or tranny (knock on wood).
He babied it. 6MT, runs nice. Remote is not working (and won't program) and Nav doesn't come up and work or come on.
But mechanically, this car is solid ! Always garaged and maintained.... and totally stock !
It feels like I won the lottery. It is if my Acura RSX and grew up to be the car it always wanted to be.

* He took it to a couple of nation chains to trade in... they offered him like $1850; so I guess he figured it was worth $2500.
I love the car, I am keeping it, but no doubt I could sell it for >$7K.

That is a steal. I paid $3900 for mine about 3 years ago. It was a stock sedan that he had always taken to the dealer.

What part of SoCal I'm also curious.
