G 35X 19 " RAYS staggered rims same rims on a 370z black powder coat with a ceramic paint job body.
2007 G35X my power steering not working

hi everyone and drive safe my question is my power steering is not working i check the fluid and its not low its not whinig its just stiff . im thinking rack and pinion job what do you guys think could be goin? its been almost 5 months now with out power steering. some one please figure this out for me

Stiff steering is usually a failing steering shaft u-joint. It's in the engine bay below the box with your brake booster.

You can spray the bejesus out of it with WD40 or some other lubricant to loosen it up for a few months.

This thread has pics on what it looks lie, you can access it easily by removing the intake tube to the throttle body, then you can spray directly down onto it. Also able to spray up under the car from a point below where the front door hinge is located but UNDER the car. I think it's easier from the engine bay but you make more of a mess.
