NJ- When mechanical wash is inevitable?
Looking for recommandations.
I've had my coupe since late Spring and so far have always washed by hand. Can't keep it up as the days are getting shorter and colder.
So can anyone recommand good and safe cash wash places in Bergen/Passaic?
On the one hand my coupe is black (which makes preventing scratches an even bigger issue even though even the careful hand washings have not totally prevented them). On the other hand it's a lease and you can only give a lease so much loving care.
If wheels are an issue mine are 17's.
Anyone familier with Magic Touch on Rt 17 or a car wash near the Maaco on McLean Blvd (20) near 9th Ave? Both seem to be busy places.

There is a touchless wash in Hackensack. I won't clean your car 100%, but it does a good job if you can't do it yourself. Personally, I would never trust a hand wash place either. Especially if you are rocking black, unless you don't mind spending several hours in the spring buffing.

I have taken my coupe to Magic Touch on 17 S a few times. They do a pretty good job, and I haven't had issues with scratches, though I have a carribean blue G35. The one thing I like about Magic is everytime I go I always see other fairly nice cars, like Mercedes and BMW's, for whatever that's worth. If you can't hand wash your coupe yourself, I'd say you should be safe taking it to Magic Touch.

i've been looking into protect-all quick and easy wash. it's something like 1/2 ounce to a gallon of water to wash your car. they usually sell em in rv stores. you can take a look at http://www.protectall.com for some more info. if anyone in nyc or nj can tell me where i can find some i'd appreciate it.
