Passport Yea! Rosenthal Nay!

Got jerked around by Rosenthal for about two weeks trying to get a DG 5AT coupe with just the premium package. The car I had placed a deposit on was supposed to have arrived last Friday. I got a call from the salesman on Saturday and was informed that the car had arrived, but "fell off the truck" during unloading. Since that car had to go back to the factory (if it actually fell off the truck in the first place), I was pretty much left carless. I tried to get them to find me another DG coupe. All they were willing to do was sell me whatever else they had on their lot at the time. They made no effort to find me another car, and they informed me it would be a month before they got another car in with my color and options.

So I called Passport that afternoon and spoke with Eric, their sales manager. He said he would try to locate the car I wanted. He called me back an hour later and said he located the car in Virginia Beach, already made a trade for it, and I would have the car in a couple of days. We made the deal over the phone. Passport gave me essentially the same deal Rosenthal was going to give me. Passport's price actually came out a little lower because their processing fee is $100 less than Rosenthal's.

Well, yesterday I took possession of the most beautiful car I have ever seen! Thank you, Passport. My only regret is not going to them in the first place.

It's here!!! '04 G35 Coupe DG/G/5AT/Prem.

NovaJay,

Welcome to the club. Myself and a few others here (for the record the group wasn't started by me, credit where credit is due) are part of the Capital G Club. During the warmer days we go on drives (lots of twisties) or we just get together. Chris (Passport Quality Manager) is the main POC. If you're interested in hanging out send me your contact info via PM and I'll include you on the distribution lists.

BTW, when you get service definitely go to Passport and introduce yourself to Chris. He is the man to know around there!

Sorry to hear about your experience with Rosenthalk! My experience with Rosenthal was great, I got jerked around by Nationwide Infiniti in Timonium for three months. George was gerat at Rosenthal.

That's ironic. I got jerked around by Passport and Rosenthal, and had a great experience with Nationwide in Timonium. I live in Alexandria!

Re: Passport Yea! Rosenthal Nay!

I hated my experience at Nationwide of Timonium (sales). The service department there is partially competent. Then I decided to try JBA in Ellicott City (for service) and they were even worse. The guy didn't know about the grease streak TSB. I had to give him the number and then he had to look on freshalloy.com to find it. I'm taking my car to Passport tomorrow to get the grease streak TSB done...and I live in Baltimore!!! If you've found good service then you're lucky, if you're like me you need to drive an hour to get it. But my G is worth it.

I got a positive experience from Nationwide when purchasing the car, but would never consider them for service. I go to Passport for service because it's about 5 miles from my place. Service there at Passport was excellent.

Passport is the way to go. No games, no BS. Jim Coleman and Rosenthal are an embarrasment to Infiniti. Ask for Ahmed the internet salesman.
