(-) 14 on the dash coming home from a restaurant early Friday night in Stowe, Vermont. Probably went down to 20 below zero later that night. Brrr...

It was 6 when I left for work this am and 6 tonight when I came home. How freaky is that? (I don't doubt the readings)

 

It was 8 when I was coming home. The CD player in my corolla stopped working, until it got a little warmer inside of the car. Crazy cold.

Nights have been between 10 and 22 below zero for the past week. Even some days have not risen above zero. Only down to -12 last night but with windchill it was about -40. Up to a balmy 13 today! Weatherman says it could be a record cold January. Pray for Global Warming!

 

I can't remember a cold snap like this for some time now. Nothing to do but put out some Stoli on the porch and run out for shots in between posts!

I was trying to issue an RFP to a consultant form Stowe, VT for the past week. Couldn't locate her for a week. Thought she was hibernating. Finally spoke to her on Thursday (1/15); she was in her car..said it was 28 below..YIKES!
I've had consistently low readings of 5 to 10 below zero F for the past week in Bolton, CT.
