Detail in Boston Area

I'm looking for a great professional detail shop that can remove swirl marks and restore that showroom look. Anyone have experience with places in the Boston area?

there are lots of detailers around...
just do it yourself and save. for the price of a full detail , you could buy yourself a orbital polisher. http://www.griotsgarage.com/catalog....1004&SKU=10925

If you don't want to do it yourself, I highly recommend the car wash/detail center at the Prudential. I've used them a couple times and they're pretty good. Prices are reasonable too (sort of).

There's a guy named RickRack who posts over on Autopia.org. He does SERIOUSLY good work.

+1 on the Prudential. Those guys over there get everything down to the grain. Also Prestige Auto Grooming on Willard St in Quincy do an awesome job as well.

I didn't believe Vic would make that much of a difference on my car... BUT after seeing what he did to it on Sat, I highly recommend him for someone looking to get rid of swirls+superficial scratches and do a light clearcoat restoration...

PM down_shift or myself to get Vic's info if you are interested.. He works on your car in his drive way or can travel to your location..

I just got my camera back... Here are some crappy pics I took Sat at Vic's..

My paint wasn't horrible but there were notcible swirls and some deep scratches after the wash and claybar.. Plus a can of fix-a-flat exploded on my car a couple of years ago that burned the clearcoat in a few places .. That stuff is nasty!!! To my surprise--Vic polished it all out!

BEFORE: I turned down the color and turned up the brightness in Photoshop to highlight the fine swirls on my paint (hard to photograph)

Vic goes to work!

AFTER: This picture was taken just after the polish and sealant phase...I turned down the color and upped the brightness in Photoshop again in an attempt to highlight the scratches...guess what? There were none!!! and Vic hasn't even put on any wax yet at this point..

All done! polish, sealant and hand applied wax.. Vics driveway and the midday sun is not the greatest time and place for pics but this is the best i could do for now..

driver's side.. my car never looked this good.. even when new!!!

HUGE thanks to Vic for slaving away 5 hours of his day to do this awesome job.. it was hot as hell outside too so he was pretty drained when it was done..

Hell yes, I want in too. What kind of pricing are we looking at? I don't have my G any more, but I have an FX now. (:
