Tuesday 2/10 in nj

it's supposed to be a balmy 44 degrees tomorrow. will be in other office so i know i get home early. will give the G a bath.

yesterday i took her when i went to the gym. took a longer way home because the roads would be faster and i miss driving it.

I am going to do the same thing on Wednesday. I am however going to have to dispute your signature I believe I have the most babied G. I received it Nov1 and due to this crappy weather aka winter. it has seen the road very little. I also miss driving it.

Re: Tuesday 2/10 in nj

ok will,

i picked up my car on 9/16.
I've had it almost 5 months. i still have more posts credited to my username, than i have miles driven (though i'm getting close). i'll let you figure that out.

i still have the original paper mats, the dealer gives you, in use in my car.

the only time my car has been out in the rain or when the roads were wet...... is on 12/24 when it was warm and raining. i pulled her out of my garage into the driveway so i could wash her. i then pulled her back in to dry.

i don't think i've ever used my windshield wipers.

i've washed her, CG'd her, did the interior. the wheels can handle the white glove test for brake dust.

your turn....

Re: Tuesday 2/10 in nj

haha, I see we have a fight brewing.

I saw the weather report and planned my lunch for tommorow before I even saw this post. Going to come home, give her a bath, and then install some splash guards.

Supposedly going to go back down to low 30's later this week. =(

Or so I hear.

Twlight blue/Willow 6mt.

Re: Tuesday 2/10 in nj

I thought these cars were meant for driving.....I could see maybe if we owned ferrari's or even a viper GT...I just enjoy this car too much to admire it in my garage....by the way...I can't even fit my car in my garage...so the best I could do is leave it parked on my driveway....anyway I give you guys a lot of credit to be able to just pamper the car and not get to enjoy it on a day to day basis....If i were you I'd just buy a second G and use that as an everyday driver...this way you wouldn't be missing all this fun!!!!2old4this

Re: Tuesday 2/10 in nj

I HAVE THE MOST BABIED G on the board . I'll just let you guys duke it out though. BTW, you could have 20,000 miles on your G and it could still be the most babied G.
Anyway, Will, I'd blank out the VIN number if I were you... God knows what kind of people are out there...
Studly, enjoy giving a bath to your G. Mine was washed last Wednesday (it was about 25 degrees out). I created an ice ring out of my driveway :-o. I still don't want to take it out of the garage due to the melting snow, on some roads. Hopefully, all this snow on the side of the roads will melt tomorrow/wednesday. I hope your G enjoys the bath .

Re: Tuesday 2/10 in nj

it took me a while before i filled my tank the first time. i saw the paper mats, the low mileage, but....

in the first picture of the floor mats, do i see a couple of brownish dirt spots to the left of the paper mat?

yes, this car is for driving. but i have a daily driver and do 115 per day. so, when i get in my g, it's like i'm test driving it all over again.

Re: Tuesday 2/10 in nj

OH my gawd you are right!! How shameful, right there, a brown smudge! With all this melting snow and wet weather it must have snuck in there. I need to get that taken care of as soon as I get home. Good thing I scotch guarded the floor the first day. Thank you for pointing that out. The paper floor mat will come out one day, but not until its sunny and warm.

Re: Tuesday 2/10 in nj

just a suggestion...when the winter weather is upon us I usually turn my mat upside down...it doesn't look so good...but damn it sure protects the carpeted side!!!! then I just wipe off the black rubber part when I wash the car and I'm good to go again..2old4this

Re: Tuesday 2/10 in nj

i bought the all season mats.

ok, took the car to the PA office today. on the tpk, forget if jersey or PA, hit 100 mph. had nice opening, no cops could have been there at that time. then i just coasted.

was a beautiful drive.

then came home and gave it a bath

Man, it was a beautiful day today - almost 50 degrees. I couldn't take the G to work, because there are huge piles of snow, which are still melting. Hopefully, on Friday...
