Need inspection station that will pass tint

Going to be getting my car regged in MA (**** this state RMV laws) and I need an inspection station that will pass me if I have 20% tint all around.

Would prefer somewhere on the south shore but will travel north/west if needed. Would like to get it done on the weekend as well.

No places down here will pass the car so I am not going to bother to bring it to them. I don't mind slipping the person doing it some extra cash, I just need it done.

If you know somewhere or someone who can do it, please let me know.

Just get the front windows stripped, go through inspection, and then have the tint re-applied. Thats how we have to do it down here. It usually costs me about 60 bucks and I only have to do it every 2 years.

MA or Ca Law vs Tint law....!

The law is what it is you can't change that or bribe a state employee. Remove
the tint on the drivers/passengers side windows using a razor blade/spray bottle. Won't/shouldn't take more than 10 minutes per window, have it signed
off then have it reinstalled....you don't have a lot of options. (unless you're connected)

Thanks for posting in this thread when you live in California. I posted in regional forums for a reason.

Also, thanks for preaching about the 'moral high ground' and then you yourself talk about being 'connected'. I didn't know Bush posted here.

This is a good question. I was forced to go with 35% cause I was worried about this.
I'm not ripping out $450- worth of ceramic tint every year to pass inspection, and for those who suggested it... in MA, we can have no darker than 35% on ANY window, not just the front sides. (and nothing allowed on the windshield)

35% FTL

Yep, no way I am ripping off the tint on my car. Uneven tint %'s look really bad too.

Yeah, MA is really cracking down. I have 20% on rears & rear window & 35% on the fronts for 4 years now. 1st 2 years, no issues, last year, the station I go to wouldn't pass me because he said he could get busted.....so luckily found a guy down in Brighton last year to pass me. Went down to see him again yesterday...no fvckin' dice! Bottom line, I now need to get all my tint removed...the 35% on the front registers at 28% on the light meter because of the factory tint I guess.

Sucky part about it is tint places won't remove the rear tint due to liability of damaging the rear defroster & radio antenna in the glass.
