Mod friendly inspection station in NJ

Anyone know of any in the central jersey area? I got to swap some things off my car in order to pass (tinted tails, clear corners, etc), but my main concern is my windows. I have 35% all around even in the fronts. Should I just go to the DMV with my front windows rolled down and risk it? Or just go straight to a private inspection station to pay whoever to let the tints pass. What does everyone do and any reccomendations on where I can go? Thanks in advance

dont go to dmv.. you'll fail and you'll have to go back to the dmv to show that you fixed the violation

WOW, you are extremely lucky Chris. Everytime I've gone to the Edison DMV, they always ask me to roll up the windows and they check to see if I have tint.

lol yeah I know. I was riskin it, but I said hey... might as well try and see. The booth I went in was not busy and were 2 younger people and said they liked my car and didn't even bother with the windows. I just made sure I went on a sunny warmer day so the windows didn't look as dark and it wouldn't look suspicious with the 2 front windows down

Wow...you are very lucky. I asked a friend to see if he knew any shops that would pass a car with tints. We drove around and the three shops that we went to didn't want to take a risk...potential chance of losing their permit/license to do inspections?? What to do, what to do.
