NYS does not reserve the picnic areas at Sunken Meadow. The main parking lot is large enough that we could find a spot to congregate and picnic. There is an $8.00 per vehicle entrance fee to the park, free if you have an Empire Passport.

Sorry guys I have been busy as hell lately. Ok I'll be more than willing to help out however I can. The 27th is good and offical. 12:30 sounds like a plan as well.

Now are we all meeting at the park or were we gonna meet elsewhere and cruise there in a pack? That was the only thing that I wasn't sure on. I think if the queens guys are gonna form a pack and head out there I may drive out to queens and join them I don't mind driving and love driving in a pack lol.......

Ok so lets make the 27th at 12:30 final. Be there or change your plans and make it lol.

All we need to do is figure out the driving and food or whatever else we want.

Joel- have you sent any of this info to Dan Z at all? He might be interested in sponsoring things in some way if we have enough people. I can call him if you want just let me know.

Vance, To get to Sunken Meadow Park by 12:30 from the spot were were at in Queens would take approximately 45 mins, maybe more depending on traffic. So what place in Queens would work for a rally point? I'm actually 10 mins from Sunken Meadow as well, but I'm backtracking to queens for the ride.

The Ocean parkway run is OUT!!!!! Traffic on a nice day will be unbearable and will not be a caravan, but rather a slowly moving parking lot. It makes more sense to do a straight GCP -> Northern State run of it, which will also be a pretty decent ride come to think of it.

Sunken Meadow time will tentatively be 12:30, but before 1 for sure based on traffic. Anyone here in a rush?

Now, if it rains, its off, correct?

Anyone want to extend this to the Z drivers? I would like to, considering we're brothers of the same soul!
