Going on a lil road Trip to Jersey!!

So I'm going to Jersey friday morning to get there at night. I was looking at the weather but it gets worse and worse for this coming weekend everyday i check.
I have the stock Michelin Pilot sport tires on the 18s im goin to drive up there with. How are you G coupe drivers holding up for the past couple days? I might need to know of a good used tire shop thats cheap for some winter/snow tires since i doubt these summer tires will keep me out of trouble no matter how slow i go. Any suggestions on a cheap/decent tire shop? How are the roads still icy? im thinking if i keep it under 55 ill be fine...i can handle a lil sideways action

Going to Bergen/Passaic county.
My girls family is in Paterson and mine is in Passaic, have a few friends in Waldwick/Allendale/Wyckoff aswell..

I was on the stock Michelins my first winter and it was horriable. I ended up ruining the backs trying to get around in the Ohio weather.

Main highways are pretty clear.
Side roads are still covered in snow and ice.

Definitely suggest winter tires or A/S minimum.
I use winter tires and I'm in Paterson, NJ.

Paterson Oh Boy - - - at the end of UnionAve- W.Broadway- - & along Main into Passaic , you'll find more used tire shops then you can believe. Even the places like Dayton Auto on Grand St to the PEP & Strauss shops get into the act. Also the people in this forum gave you a bunch.
Just watch out a bit., Paterson ain't the Disneyland of NJ
