fight the good fight...haha, those mods would not cause oil consumption that is a fact...there is just no way. They dont really add that much power. What are you gonna do about your tune? if they are going that hard do you think they will check for that?

and as far as suspension I switched to some RCE yellow springs..not much of a drop but a higher spring rate, gonna do sways and shocks at some point. But there is no problem putting the power down. I can just floor it in a turn with no issues..the only issue is a bit of understeer but I can live with it. The sti is so much faster than the g. even with the same power, just the way the power band is. I love it!

i will say one thing, that even though it's not the most powerful little car, the g is definitely fun. I drove a G8 GT for a couple days the other day and i couldn't wait to get back into my car. the handling is just a much better feel. sure, the G8 has more power but the G35 is much more fun to drive. i wish i could afford some go fast parts lol

like you said, the G8 may have more power but the reliability in our G's will be there way longer than that G8 will be 5 to 10 yrs down the road. American made vehicles are made for consumers that love the power/good looks when brand new but give them a couple of years of usage.......pure FAIL!
