Works best wheels are their VS, euroline, varianza, and schwert series and now most recently their Gnosis series. I wanted to be different from the crowd and waited a long time but came across one of my two favs... Ordens. My other top choice was Weds Kranze LXZ.

Hey guys, I was lurking and saw the post on swapping transmissions. I know it was mostly a rhetorical thought but here are some other issues.

Besides the obvious you'll have to run the wiring to the clutch pedal for the cruise control and for the starter relay(which is inside the IPDM next to the battery). A5 starter relay control goes to the transmission. M6 goes to the clutch pedal. You would probably have to get a custom tune because there wasn't a non-rev M6 ecu used after 04 model year. An 04 might work 03 won't work. M6's weren't available with "keyless" ignition in a V35(I think) but it was available in A5's....may be an issue.

Gauge clusters might do some strange things since it looks for a shifter position(A5) and has A/T indicator lamps.

ABS/TCS/VDC looks at A5 shifter position and actual gear...might be ok I think it will default if it sees no input from the A5 controller.

A5 has a foot style parking brake and may get a little close to the clutch pedal or it may be a nuisance when using the clutch.

If you're doing a car-car swap you'll have to transfer the transmission cooler lines and radiator.

The hole in the floor pan is different for A5 vs M6.

I'm sure there are some other things I'm missing.
