SAT radio afterwards?
SAT radio afterwards?
did a lot of you install sat radio after you got your car? what is the best way to go about this? i was thinking buying the parts but i would never trust myself trying to install something in my car. anyone in NJ buy the parts aftermarket and then have it installed somewhere for a reasonable price? also to get it done at a dealer would be something ridiculous like $800 right?

Re: SAT radio afterwards?
I want the sirius because sirius has the lifetime 400 dollar plan.
I asked my dealer and he quoted me nearly 700 installed which is effin crazy.
I know 6mt is selling the kit for like 250 bucks. I am not willing to spend more than 100 on installation being that I have a 2004 and its pre-wired

I think the kit costs $350. It takes a monkey with both eyes to install it. Its no biggie, just follow the simpleton instructions and anyone can do it. The only issue is proper placement of the antenna.
