New To This Forum Need Advice

I'm new to this forum and live in CT. I just got an 04 g35 and would like to put an intake in. Any recommendations and websites to order from? I think I will try for a short RAM.

Thanks for any advice.

Only thing an intake I gonna do is increase the sound.. Don't waste your money.. Get the oem intake box from a rev-up motor G35 and put a k&n drop in filter in it.. Intakes don't do sheet for our cars..

Frankie G35 makes a good point.. An aftermarket intake really wont give you much HP gain at all but it sounds cool. I guess that's why just about every member has one.

As far as where to get one.. i mean we do have a marketplace section on here and there are paying vendors that offer specials from time to time etc. If you dont want to buy it from them, i would suggest searching the forum/net to find which intake you like.. then use google to see who has it the cheapest.

Most guys dont just swear by one site or another.. i have an FI car and i get parts wherever i can get a good deal on em.

For intake i would recommend getting something cold air.. but just my .02.

before FI i had the nismo CAI with bypass valve.

Thanks for the feedback. I think the sound is part of the excitement but the speed is really the reason to even change it.

You know.... that's the same rabbit hole i fell down in 04 when i got my first G (just an intake).. and well.. a brand new 07 6mt, 25K worth of mods later and i have scratched that itch... Oh and im still modding so.. It really never ends.

This is a very addictive habit.. be prepared to spend ALL of your MONEY if you get the one little intake looking for performance increase.
