lol mass got distracted

monte just because of your situation doesnt mean all cops are dbags. In fact quite a few are on this site. Put yourself in their shoes man. They dont know who you are. You might not even realize your copping an attitude with them as most people who get pulled over do. Look at the other side before you classify. I know most people have problems with authority even if its subliminal.

I shvt you not: On the highway, it's often better not to have the lights on. Have you seen how people react to a cruiser w/ lights on behind them? They don't pull to the right and stop as required by law. They do everything but that. Slow. Pull to the left. STOP. Drive 10 below the limit in that lane for a solid mile or two. But when cruisers fly up behind them w/ the lights off, for whatever reason, they move a lot faster. I think it has to do with "I better get out of his way before he pulls me over" vs. "I think he's stopping me, so I better be on my best behavior while we pull off the road."

Or they're in a rush to get donuts. Either way: I don't blame them.
Good point.

Oh yeah, or they're about to get off their shift!

And I "deserve" it how?

By repeatedly pointing out the facts of speed?

Or by my career choice?

As far as cops, yeah all they do is raise money basically. So don't get angry...pay the "donation" and move on. Next time they call tell them you already donated
Carefull you might get an "infraction"

Back when we had no speed limit law... the crashes were more severe because of people didnt have the safety equipment in their vehicles but.... there was less crashing.

Speed limit was added to "save gas" not for 100% intended for safety.

I've driven in Germany plenty of times and every single time I've felt a lot safer than over here...and I was doing roughly 130mph average. Good thing no officer tried to save me from myself.

I have no issue with speed limits and you should be fined if you go over them but don't sell me kool-aid that it's for my safety

K dude. You're right. 130 is as safe as 60.
