I am in the same situation as you. I work in the city and only use the car during the week to go to the gym/store. So I am really questioning the need for winter tires. The only thing that would suck is if it snows on the weekend and I can't go anywhere. Another issue is my driveway which is a 25 degree slope. I guess I will try to ride out the first snow storm and see what happens.
