Well, I must say it was quite chilly. Temp was 40 degrees.

The new track they layed down in the 1/4 mile is awesome.

I arrived at raceway park at 6:15 and went to tech inspection... by the time I lined up, it was around 6:45. I stayed to about 8:45-9:00 PM and I got 3 runs in. I could have gotten 5 but I didn't want to have to tow the car home.

I wen't just for $hit's and Giggles and I ran on 17" Blizzak's!

I guess it was still a bit chilly and tires weren't hooking as well... but I still managed a 14.2@99 MPH. I was consistant all night long... 14.23, 14.27, 14.21. with all 2.1xx or 2.2xx 60' times.

I can't wait for this season to really kick in effect. I'll be making many trips, maybe even with slick's if I can find them.

How many of you NE guys have gone to the track this season?

btw, car is 04 6MT coupe with intake and exhaust only... not really much of a power adder.

Three runs....ummm, u need to have a tawk with Speedoholic, he did 23 runs (with witneses) last year at the Infiniti/Nissan day at Etown. I guess you will be going to this years meet there.

I think I see more mods under the hood coming your way...

nice runs.
I haven't been to Etown yet this year.
Last year i ran my first 1/4 in the G and i couldn't hook up either cause of the weather.
Plus i ran with 3/4 of a tank and 38 PSi on my tires.
I'm waiting for warmer weather i might go back onthe 1/4 im more of a full racetrack kind of guy.
not too big on the 1/4.

 

Yeah... Last year I went to the track about 3-4 times. For the first run of the season, I'm pretty happy. Especially on snow tires.

i can't wait for E-town to finish that 1.5 mile road course. should be done sometime in 06!

as far as mods... prob going not going crazy anymore.

Vortech SC only pull mid 13's. I'm either going to stay where I am or go turbo. Still deciding... If I'm going to drop more money, I want to be in 12's dammit!! lol

i havent been to the track yet but ive been doing alot of testing myself with a gtech and i used my friends other computer thing that is like a gtech....i ran a 14.0 at 100 i have def ran better since i lst checked cause i was still trying not to get alot of wheel spin and get a good launch...all i know is i been beating some 5.0 mustangs and some newer mustangs around my way so im happy but i will def be going down to etown soon for a stock run then my mods are going in...

 

I think a lot of cars weren't doing too well that night.

I raced against the new mustang GT. I didn't care much about my reaction time b/c I was more concerned about my launching. But when I raced him he ran a 14.1. Watching the race, it looked like he killed me b.c my r/t was 1.3 seconds! lol.

I can't wait for the weather to get a little warmer.

 

Yeah I'm thinking about an early April run.
