Check out psedog's "Factory Service Manuals" sticky in the FAQ & DIY section:
https://g35driver.com/forums/faq-diy...e-manuals.html

On that note, does anyone know how to enforce literal searches? I tried using quotes like this:
"Factory Service Manuals"
and I also tried this:
"Factory+Service+Manuals"
...but the search results included all threads with any of the 3 words in their title.

Never mind--I just noticed the Search Type option at the bottom. Specify Boolean.

Door panels is a good thing to do. I just had mine done with the audio install and I can really notice a difference. The car is quieter and feels more solid on the doors. The trunk does not really need it much. I was almost positive I would with my sub but it does not really rattle at all. The floor would be overkill unless you are jusr trying to get rid of all the road noise. If that is the case you would need to hit the wheel wells also.

Sorry Eugene...

Lets not get off the topic of the OP.

not 100% sure but this is what I would do:

1)was the car really well
2)heat the badge(s) with a heat gun or similar.. make sure not to overheat.
3)remove heated badge(s).
4)wash again and dry

5)use detailing clay to clean up the mess (I've heard of people having success with products like goo gone also).

6)wash again
7)remove any scratches
8)wax

In any case, read-up on the paint care section to get in-depth experiences and info. good luck!
