on-line or 8 hr class, you will still get a certificate with a number that has to be entered into a DMV database by underpaid data transcribers, so the violation may still show up, just not the point.

Once you complete the course, your certificate of completion is sent electronically to the Court for you, and you receive a confirmation e-mail once the court receives it. There is no need to purchase a copy for your records.
