Niello Infiniti charges for a loaner?
I really don't like going to this dealership. I usually take it to Oakland instead, but b/c of my work schedule I have to take it here. Well I called today to make an appt. to drop off my car and requested a loaner b/c I have to go back to work. They said that they now charge $10 for a loaner, I was like WTF
Anyone pays for their loaner? I know Oakland doesn't charge for one.

Been to Niello once like 3 years ago and no charge for the loaner. Been to Pleasanton twice no charge but you have to fill it up wit the same amount of gas you used. Went to Peninsuala once and no charges for anything.

Nope...no charge for loaner. Yup...supossed to bring it back with same amount of gas when loaned out.
This, to my knowledge, is one of Infiniti's standard service amenities, being it's a luxury brand and we (the consumer) paid darn good money for our Infiniti's.
Call Corp. and report them. It should be free, imo.

I didn't think Infiniti dealerships weren't allowed to charge for loaners. I've been going to them for a couple years now (at a few different locations) and never had to pay for one, or fill it up for that matter. Of course this was back East so things could be a little different.

I have never had to pay for a loaner before, fill it up with the same amount of gas, yes. But to pay for a loaner? That's ridiculous.
I have been to Niello a few times before, but that was before Oakland opened up. Not once have I had to pay but now they charge?

I remember seeing my bill for $5.00 cleaning fee/gas fee etc etc etc...whatever...at peninsula...i didn't complain too much because at the time gas prices were well over $3.50 per gallon...
They didn't ask me to put gas back...just remember the dealer has operating expenses too and gas isn't cheap plus they gotta get it cleaned it up for someone else to use...
Was it for warranty work or just a regular oil change? If it's just an oil change, they usually don't give out loaners so that's understandable...
Mondays and Tuesdays most service dept's are always busy...Was it there last loaner or were there others sitting around?
Any other complaints, contact INFINITI CORP. Customer Relations Dept.
That always seems to work..

I'm dropping it off this Wednesday for an oil change, to fix rear axle clicking, and b/c my power windows or locks aren't working on either side of my car. They asked if I would like a shuttle to work after I drop off my car, but then I asked if I can have a loaner instead. They said that they are available, but they now charge $10 for loaners.

Well, you could just give in to the $10 and say, ok...I'll take that new 07 G35 Sedan over there for my loaner...
Nah man...call Corp tomorrow and tell them. Maybe Corp will call that Dealer and say WTF you doing over there!...give that customer a free loaner like you're supposed to.
That's really BS. Or go to a different dealer and get their free loaner, then go to work from there...idk

Don't know.
My statement was a joke, suggesting Deezy to point to a new sedan on the lot and take that as a loner.

I have never had to pay for a loaner. The last two times I was at the dealer the guy said not to worry about the gas either. "Just bring it back with enough to get to the gas station." If they want your $10 talk to the service manager and tell him your survey results are going to factor that in and see if they wave it.
