I guess it's too late to sign up now as it's 2/25.

Haha...that was funny seeing that. You were telling peeps to turn right out of there and they turn left back into the the circling wagons.
Maybe they wanted you to take another picture of them...
I turned right and became the first leader outta there. First time at a driving meet and first time leading...(ok...let's give this a shot...lol)

Our group had our own little adventure. Misinterpreted your odo readings for turns/landmarks Shane. We missed the first turn onto Portola. Ended up way down the road (which had turned into Portola on it's own, huh...what )turned around at the end of that road, then got pointed to turn left on La Honda, which was a skinny **** 25mph road. Little ways up (got smart this time and turned on my navi) only to see the correct turn on Portola back down off that road. Turned around there...lol...smacked my wheel facing on an asphalt curb as we all squeezed by one another turning around :sigh: (so much for a flawless set of wheels ) The cyclists were shaking their heads at us when we went up La Honda and really talking to themselves when we came back down...lol.
Finely turned onto the 'correct' Portola and finely caught with some of you guys at that Pioneer market pre blockade point.

Sorry again for the peeps in my group on those little scenic detours. Finely figured out your type of written navigation/odo references Shane. Will know next time for sure.

That's okay, John. Actually you saved us at the end. Otherwise, our group could get a ticket.

Here are some photos of our scenic detours.

Sorry to those that fellowed my friend's Accord too as he missed the right turn on Portola. At least we didn't go too far, as we turned around to get back on track.

My first time to the meet and being a sub-leader (only from Stanford to Alice's)...I was lucky though, I sort of knew where Portola was as I had been there just a couple of weeks, about a block away for work.

That really was no big deal. It was just lucky we were able to make a u-turn on that little road. Those cyclists must've been laughing at us for passing by like 3 times.

The second little road we took to avoid the cops was fun too. It reminded me of my days as a kid when we'd go get lost up in the mountain trails. I just wish I had navi. This is a good excuse to get the Z1 or the new Z2 installed.

All in all it was a fun day. I'm glad I went.

You were in the group I led from Standford to the gas station (Alice's). Anyways..good to meet you and your buddy. Hopefully this won't discourage you guys from coming out again.

Yeah we did meet at ALice's, it was a nice drive while it lasted and btw nice looking car you got there . Hopefully we'll be seeing you guys at the next meets!

Yeah...someone told me later there was a local in her car stuck behind us on the end of the line. And while we all were making that tight u-turn and coming back down, she was trippin. I didn't see her, all I was thinking was what my wheel facing must look like after hitting that curb that jumped out in front of me.
Haha...bet we all left a story for that local and those cyclists to talked about for awhile

Yeah...all in all, it was a fun day, despite what transpired later.

Dude...still see plate numbers on the snaps you posted in that picture thread. Ahemm

Can you tell me which picture it is so I can remove it? I swear I looked over them twice after you mentioned it the second time and couldn't find it. Then again, I always sucked at Where's Waldo.

Ya, the lady was behind me in a miata. The weird thing is that she ended up making a u-turn with us. Either she was lost too or thought the road was closed...haha.

Unless it's my puter, I don't see any blanked out in your first set post #1 (1st,4th,5th, 9th and 10th) and second set post #5 (5th and 8th)

Same with 2K6G35's, see none blanked out either Andy...

Let me know if it's just me on my end...thanks bro.

Maybe the unblurred ones are still in your cache. If you delete your cache it'll load the blurred pics. Try going to the Internet Explorer menu, Tools >> Internet Options >> Temporary Internet Files >> Delete Files and refresh the page.

I know Andy fixed his and so have most of the other people. Let me know if clearing your cache works.

I want to know also.

Last I heard it was around 28ish cars plus some extra non-G/Z cars. Shane should have the final count since he was taking roll.
