BTW- My apologies for any acusations on this forum. It was just one of those unlucky days for some of us. I'm still was just really F'n pissed about everything that went down yesterday. I'm still pissed about my big dent on my front fender. One of my buddies told me not to go on this run. He's still rubb'n it in my face "I told u so" B.S. I should have listened to him. It sticks out like a sore thumb everytime in go into the garage.

Sorry that happened to you. Now every time I go out, I look at my scuffed wheel facing. But it's no way near as serious as what happened to you.

Wow! Look what I missed by not being online this weekend.

On a lighter note, I had a wonderful time and it was fun finally putting faces to screen names. I was one of the chickens that went home after the Pioneer market detour. I'm sorry I missed the fun once you guys got through the blockade.

I'm looking forward to the next run. I do think it might be worth following up on the email/pm notification rather than the public forum.

I was in the first group that was followed by the sheriff in the ford suv (expedition/explorer??? couldn't tell as i was 2 cars ahead) until passing that pioneer market then the suv pulled out to the fire station... we were on our merry way and got lost on pescadero creek rd by going into that one lane fire road (alpine rd). We backtracked out to 84 and saw Paul rolling there as we stopped at the intersection. From there we just drove until hitting highway 1 and eventually got to pescadero beach... anyway, it's a bummer to hear what happened to the stockton group. I'd wish i could make it to lunch with the rest of you guys at the brewery in half moon bay but had to swing by sunnyvale so i headed up towards skyline early to try that road again but didn't have any maps with me so i didn't go to far and came back close to 92 to have snack at some turnout with a nice view on both sides....

saw a silver g sedan (with smoked out tailed lights) drive by later and waved as i was standing outside behind my car... i remember seeing it at stanford... i like to go the same route again after missing out on the pescadero creek road portion... this was my first time on this section of Highway 1 and first time in half moon bay... love the scenery.


By the way, I think 2-way radios would be something valuable for future drives... and maybe a bearcat scanner too....

 

The funny thing after the cop let me go was that I waited for about 15 mins for the rest of the people to follow behind me but alas no so I decided to carry on to the beach and saw 4 G's waiting to tun onto the road so I let them in not even knowing that they were part of the original group...lol shows you how much attention I pay to other rides, I thought they were a separate group doing the same thing we were

 

Amazing good news.

I went to my local PD (Stockton) and just went there to get my Front plate ticket signed. I put it in a my350z.com frame and double sided taped it to the bumper, it looked drilled unless you really checked it out

Anyways, the clerk there saw my car, and then asked if I had my registration. I told her I lost it and my renewal date was in 2 weeks.

She then signed everything. The tint, front plate, and no registration, and said for the insurance I just have to make a copy of my card and send it in later.

I like police lady for once.

^ I wouldn't mention that directly on a public forum. ...but strong indirect hints always work great. Technically you are breaking the law by having it signed off if it wasn't really done. I'm not trying to get on you, just trying to help you out here. You just never know who's around. Keep in mind that it seems pretty odd that the cops tend to show up at many of these meets or along the route.

 

I think we need and should put this meet to the rest and move on...

Thanks all whom came out to this meet, I really really appreciated, but at same time, I must apologize to everyone as well, as it didn’t went down as planed and definitely did go anywhere near as smoothly as I would’ve hoped, I really hope that you wont let what transpired at this meet dampen your enthusiasm for the future meets. I’m trying to working on few things to better our meet experience in the future and hoping it will go bit more smoother next time around, your patience and cooperation are much needed and of course much appreciative as well.

To ensure we get back on the horse sort of speak, I’m planning on to have other meet some time in April, will have a poll setup sometime next week so we can set a date for it, more detail/info to come so keep an eye on that. Do hope you will come out for it.

There are lots of concerns about possible of LE cruising this forum and possibilities of meet was set-up, so I will distribute meeting locations/time/drive route thru either PM or e-mails so if you are interested, shoot me an PM or e-mail me at limeg35@yahoo.com, once I have details workout, I will send it to you, I will also have copies of drive route to pass it out at meeting location. Keep this in mind tho, since we have new members joining this forum everyday so I cant and will not refuse anyone who ask for the meeting info, but if and lets hope only “if” similar thing happen last week occurring again at next meet? since you have to request the meet info and its not posted in public forums, we can narrow it down quite easily as who the informant might be (not saying we were set-up).

Again, Thanks for your attendace at last meet, sure hope to see you guys/gals again at next meet, and hope for much better end result.

 

can i just say, YOU ROCK shane. thank you again, and you don't need to apologize for anything. out of the many people who are on this forum, you are one of the few to step up and plan things like this for us to get together. so again, thanks, and whatever you plan for next time, will be sincerely appreciated. i'd be glad to help you if you need any assistance! =)
