I know everyone has had different experiences with dealers especially if your car has mods. I just want to Thank John at Infniti of Serramonte for taking car of me and my G. Just last week I took my car in for an oil change and to have my brakes checked out. I also mentioned several TSB and John took very good care of me. I dropped my car off at 9am and everything was taken care of by 4pm. To my surprise John hooked me up by replacing both my front rotors and pads in addition he eliminated a clicking sound that I had for he past several months. Many of the repairs to my G were taken care under warranty. My car is lowered with several mods and it didn't seem to be a problem. Once again props to John and Pete at Infiniti of Serramonte.

John Bernardo? Cool guy...I've been taking my car there for all the services (including oil changes). He has good customer service and is honest.

I do take my wheels off to prevent any scratches, but I think I may leave them on taking it there....there isn't much they can hit and they never wash my car unless I ask them to.

What is the nature of your visit, if I may ask?

yeah, john is cool kid, but about what infiniti of serramonte didnt want to do was to replace my engine.

i know that no one wants to rebuild/replace a $14,000+ engine for free, it's a hassle (no doubt). they were basically measuring how much oil i have in my engine. which reads between the 'H' and the 'L'

what they are NOT reading is how fast is consumes. can anyone agree with me here? i go from FULL to halfway after 800+ miles...

Did you take your car to another dealership for review? As I understand it, the local dealership send the engine oil consumption test results back to Infiniti Corporate . . . And as such, Corporate makes the determination on whether to replace the engine.

interesting info, noted. hey, what are you dropped on, and do you have any pics? - now that you mentioned your drop, you are now open for questioning.

Question for you guys...I am taking in my car next weeks for a few TSB's as well as the rattling issue (c pillar, sunshade). Do you think I should take out my subwoofer before I go? The rattles occured before the sub install.

Cool, I usually chat with Pete and John while waiting for my car. Are you dropping off or waiting for your car?

John's always been really nice to me. He knows me by my name now! Pete's cool, but not as cool as John.
