Patience is a virtue that you have learned. It will pay off in the end.

Cant wait to see the car when it's done bro, you should roll out to the big SoCal/NorCal meet were planning for summer or right after.

Hey guys, I've been really busy over these last couple weeks so haven't had the chance to post any updates, but I've been stopping by the bodyshop almost every day and snapping shots.
5/18 - sealant applied to the already primered parts
5/23 - the shop had some other projects to do so my car wasn't touched much from the 18th through today. At least the V-CSL hood was primered.
5/25 - the car is masked off in preparation for paint. Since they are painting most of the car, (under the bumper, under the fenders, inside the doors, inside all jams) this proved to be a lot of work.

5/26 - Had the urge to mod! My buddy and I stopped by the shop early on Saturday morning. We removed my Eisenmann Race muffler in the paint booth. We were going to install the newly acquired GruppeM, but the shop suggested we leave it off as it'll make painting behind the bumper easier.
5-29 - I stopped by the shop today to find the base coat sprayed on. As you can see the car is stripped again with its fenders and bumpers removed, as well as the front windshield. I'm getting really excited for the completion of the project. And most importantly, no more traces of CARBON BLACK!
The hood still hasn't been sprayed, but I was able to peel back the tape to see the exposed CF.
The shop builds Porsche race cars from the ground up using custom widebody 993 style exteriors on old school 70's Porsche's. Not to mention the serious motor and suspension work on them. Here's one they built a few months back:
