My new G got peeled last night
I got a knock on my door shortly after 10 pm last night. The moment I saw the look on my neighbor's face I knew he had hit my G.
He peeled the rear quarter panel up to the drivers-side door and nailed the rear rim while he was at it. I don't even have the plates on the car yet.
At least he came right to my door to tell me about it... so no hard feelings there.
Anyone had work done at Fenders Collision Center in Sunnyvale? That's where Geico is sending me to get the estimate. Any recommendations? A dealer maybe so I can get another G as a rental?
Any advice would be appreciated.

That sucks...but at least he came and told you. You can take your car to any body shop for the estimate and body work but you should at least take it to the dealership for an estimate so that way you can have a leverage when it comes down to settling for the check.
At least you got a nice neighbor. Now just deal with fixing it.
My suggestion, DON'T LEAVE YOUR G PARK ON THE STREET!!!
Last Monday, some kids did a drift (either doing 8 or a donat) with his Mustang at the intersection in front of my house. Lost control of the car, went over the walkway and hit my neighbor's car parked on the street. He was panicked and drove away really fast.
The owner came back 10 minutes later and found her car was smashed up very bad in the bumper. She was pissed off.

Ouch! Sorry to hear about that, man. But like everyone else said, at least your neighbor was responsible enough to let you know what he did. I've never heard anything about Fenders Collision Repair in Sunnyvale, but if you decide to have your work done in SJ, I highly recommend Espana's Collision Repair. They do AWESOME work! As a matter of fact, I just got my car back from them last week and it looks great.

It's so annoying hearing the tires screech and my brother sits on the computer in the living room and sees it all the time. I see tire marks on the street across my driveway. I told myself, I'm never parking my car out there.

you should take it upon
yourself and make a speed bump ahhahhah those huge annoying ones at movie theaters
Sorry to hear about this kinda thing........
If you live in a house, house's have garages and that's where cars belong!
At the very least keep your car in the driveway and off the street, that
should save you further headaches. And Man, sorry your car got nailed...
Good Luck with the repairs!
