How often do you see G's that actually take notice that you drive the same car and give a nice gesture? I guess because our cars are so common, most of the owners don't give a ****. I mostly get dirty looks. Hardly a sense a community. We need to set up a East Bay G35 cruise ASAP.

When I had my RX-7 (FD), I would get a lot of gestures from 7 owners. It even got to the point where we would pull over and have a chat.

Anyway, give a thumbs up or something! Even the finger would be fine at this point.

 

I always at least give a thumbs up and a smile. A wave out my roof if I'm driving by quickly will do also.
I really only do it to the younger crowd. The older folks (I'm 41!) tend to ignore you.
So if an old lady redhead waves at you, it's meeeee!

Grace you are still a young-un at 41 . You would put a smile on my face if you gave the wave for sure

 

they're a dime a dozen so i don't bother. The rx-7 is rare and the owners know they have a rare car so they acknowledge each other.

 

When I had my G35, I would acknowledge modded G's. 9/10 times somebody in a stock G35 sedan didn't even realize I had the same kind of car.

 

I always drive up along side and look but usually its people that don't care to even glance back. Oh wells. I try.

 

geez, they give me dirty looks, like I am going to shot them or something.....it weird. I quit waving, except to the younger female drivers....but then I guess I seem perverted....oh well.

 

Sometimes other G owners just look at my car but no nod or anything. Some of them mug at me. If I see another modded G, I will nod. Like 95% of the G's I see are stock.

 

Oh, I'd waved hello and flashed a peace sign to both stocked and modified Gs and 99% of them flashed me a dirty look. Only one guy waved back at me. Most of them would slow down next to me, but that's it.

 

what if we don't see you? Sometimes when I'm driving, my mind wonders off about work... by the time I see the Gs next to me, they're driving away. Let us see you and then we'll notice you... then we'll wave back.

Theres not too many g's in my area, but when i do see one i look and give the thumbs up if the person looks at me. One time an older lady in a red G started to wave at me as I was at an intesection, i thought that was halarious.

It's not G owners that don't give a ****. It's your ugly negative a$$ that scares people. You prolly stare at them like a predator at your meal.
