i got my tints today (finally) from vince. he did the screw thingy to turn off the auto roll-up. the thing is, i went to safeway after that. get couple of things (blah blah blah) and as i was walking back to my car, my lights were on. then i was like "i left my lights on? wtf?" then i walked up and open my car noticed that my lights were on "auto".

what i am asking is, if disabling the auto roll-up feature for the couple, does it disable the auto turn off for the headlights..

That could be the issue. Dome light for sure isn't going to work. As for the day time, it has to be it. WOuld make sence seeing that the car isn't seeing you leave the car.

SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME!!!! Its the screw thingy that's made everything all messed up. So I had to live with turning the lights on and off manually until I was able to put the screws back in. Sooooo... just wait until you can put the screws back in the door, and everything will be back to normal

ahhh, i see. right on man. i was trippen for a bit. as for the dome lights, did you have a problem with that? i mean, i know it wont turn on if the doors are open (obvious because of the screw) but just turning it on as "reading" light. it's kind of freaky

Actually, I'm a girl . And I don't remember, but I think the dome lights were wierded out too. I remember just leaving them in the OFF position instead of DOOR cause it won't turn off by itself. And there is a light underneath the door that is off too until you put the screws back in.
