Osiris Install

Haven't seen anyone post this in our regional forums, but I'm heading over to EIP racing this Saturday for the Osiris ECU upgrade (www.uprev.com) & dyno tune.

Paul over there is charging $700 for the install & tune (for the first 10 customers, I'll ask about continued discounted pricing for g35driver members on Saturday), which I think is a helluva deal, almost on par with Church's down in Socal.

I'll post up dyno graphs and impressions after the install, hopefully this will be something all the G owners up North can get on if it makes sense.

Whats up Kyle.

Eagerly awaiting your results. I didn't know you had a garnet fire G. Thats a nice and rare color. I also see the mod bug got you good

Great choice!

Paul's a great guy and does great work, and backs it up too. He's also the one to do the Osiris in my car too! $700 is a hell of a great deal too!

Dofu - did you get the Osiris installed already? How much of a difference did it make?

I actually had my timing retarded for the 91 tune, but I'm not sure what Paul did for the 100 octane map. But he did tune a map just for 100 octane, so it's not just a gain from upping the octane alone.

There were gains across the board, but I think the peak gain was 20. I do have the chart somewhere, if I didn't lose it already, but the most impressive part about the reflash is that I can actually use all of the RPMs now instead of topping out at about 5k. But I wouldn't expect gains like this without i/h/e at the least.

Different maps... you can have up to five different maps with the Osiris... I wanted the timing retarded for daily driving to see if I would burn less oil.

Yea, the 91 tune is where I had the timing retarded... for some reaon, when I first got my car onto the dyno before the tuning, my timing was a bit more advanced from factory settings, and my a/f was really lean.

Check this thread for numbers. They'll be digging up the old tunes, etc... when they have time.
