Various Dyno Result

Sup guy
After I cleaned up my dyno database, I would like to share some of the base and mod pull from different cars.

Your dyno seems to read abnormally low. Guess it doesn't matter when you're tuning the vehicle on the actual dyno, but...

whats the point of this thread showing cars not g's?

but i am with vodka on this one even low for a mustang dyno, only thin g i can think of is cheating the numbers to make tuning loook like u gain more than u really do.

Actually, it matters. Tuning on a low reading dyno is much better than tuning on a higher reading dyno... the numbers are more realistic since dynapacks and most other dynos don't compensate for as much.

There is a G in there... stock base run though. I'll post up my after dynos in a bit after I get a chance to dyno my car on a dynapack or dynojet to show you guys the difference between this dyno and others. There are a few shops I need to hit up first to see who will let me dyno for free! And for cheating numbers... yea, 207 looks really great for a G...

Them numbers do seem low for an 05 G35.

Here is one for an 04 G35 completely stock on a mustang dyno also.

I did a base line dyno with XS Engineering, drum type dyno and my car got 247 rwhp and 231 rwtq. Honestly, I don't know why they would even make the two different types of dynos, wouldn't it better if you could just have one kind and get the "real" accurate results. Whether your car puts out 197 hp on this dyno or 250 on another dyno your car is still stock. Never really understood why they did that...

yes you are right about this, on the mustang dyno they call it weather station which will affect the reading with different out side atmosphere. this funtion you can enable or disable it
nice 2 talk to u 06CPV35!!!

As you all know as well, temp, humidy, standard or SAE corrected affect numbers too and not disclosed on those charts.

That G was probably Dynoed on a very hot day with very low humidity is my guess for those low numbers.

Thanx for sharing those btw...

It's all in the way they set up their dyno... you can make a Mustang read just as high as the others if they weren't compensating for as much like weight, temp, humidity, etc...
