Sweet install 2K6G35

I have something similar in-mind for my next mod, followed shortly thereafter by the carPC.

But... need to deal with wedding expenses first

^ Thanks!

BTW, PM Steve (Deftronix) if you are planning to put carPC.
He did an amazing job installing the carPC into his G35. Man, the LCD touch screen that he used is huge.

Here are the pictures of his CarPC.

Don't know about the carPC LCD. You will need to ask Steve (Deftronix).

I love my Nav GPS mod, been using it even when I was driving on the freeway

Will having the tvnav2go with a dvd player and all that stuff interfere with me playing my ipod through the sat radio input as a disc changer? Or will I have to manually switch cables from audio sources?

If you are getting the USA SPEC PA11 NIS, then you are fine since it has an extra aux audio input which you can connect it to your DVD player. Just don't play both the Ipod and DVD movie at the same time.

USA SPEC PA11 NIS Specs:
The USA Spec iPod Interface Cable connects, controls, charges, and plays an iPod through the factory stereo system of most Domestic, Japanese, and European vehicle brands.

Get pure Digital Sound of your iPod into your factory radio. Also adds optional auxiliary input to connect any standard portable stereo device plus iPod connection.

For more info here

Very nice. I want to do something similar to my car - but I'm a bit confused about certain options (i'm not very electric knowledgeable). I'm currently looking at the parts listed to do this, and I just need some clarification.

What i want to do: Make my navigation toggle to viewing a video from Ipod or DVD player (can ipod and dvd player be switched on which to use? If not, i just want to do Ipod video) and back to map/programming.

Ok, so.

KPTechnology's OK bypass for ~$40 - I sort of understand what this does, So this would be used to toggle between the nav and the video source (ipod, dvd player). But what is the difference between the standard and the deluxe, i'm looking at the site and it shows that one has a SPDT switching relay, and the other needs additional parts to make AUX work. Which one do I need? What is SPDT used for? Additional parts for to make AUX work, like what kind of parts - For example? Not sure which one I need...

TVandNav2Go (~$225 for Plug & Play module)- This would be to display the image from the Ipod/DVD player to the nav correct? The KPTechnology's bypass isn't what displays it right?...

Small blue switch/rocker ($3 @Autozone) - Don't need it since I don't need a rear view camera right?

Audio module: Pac AAI-NIS2 for Nissan (~$85) - Need this to play the sound from my factory speakers right? What's the difference between this, and the one you mentioned in the post above.. "USA SPEC PA11 NIS Specs"?

And, I'm guessing this is all I need?... I probably have more questions, but can't think of them right now..

- TVandNav2Go module: enables you to connect up to 2 aux VIDEO inputs (Video1 & Video2) and display the video on your GPS Nav LCD. It comes with a switch which enables you to switch between Video1 (ex: Ipod video) & Video2 (ex: DVD player or rearview camera).

- Pac AAI-NIS2 module: enables you to connect up to 2 aux AUDIO inputs (Audio1 & Audio2) which are selected by the SAT/Radio button on face of BOSE radio. You can connect Audio1 to Ipod and Audio2 to DVD player.

-KPTechnology 'OK bypass' deluxe module: enables auto press the OK button everytime you turn on the GPS Nav. It comes with a switch relay which enables you to toggle ON/OFF between your GPS Nav & TVandNav2Go module.

Let me know if you have more questions.
