Hmm, they both look cool, but I think I like the GTR overlays better.

I would go with the ones on the left, however, I would have them painted like Nates (Calcul8), not using overlays.

What color is your car?
IMO, if it's a dark silver or black, then blacked out might look better, while any other color might look better with the GTR look.

lol we all have the same taste i see lol. i wouldnt do over lays but if u are set on it gtr 6/10

If you are doing gtrs, might as well go dark.

Just be forewarned:

26101. No person shall sell or offer for sale for use upon or as
part of the equipment of a vehicle, nor shall any person use upon a
vehicle, any device that is intended to modify the original design or
performance of any lighting equipment, safety glazing material, or
other device, unless the modifying device meets the provisions of
Section 26104. This section does not apply to a taillamp or stop
lamp in use on or prior to December 1, 1935, or to lamps installed on
authorized emergency vehicles.

This is NOT a correctable violation. This is not just a $10 fix-it-ticket. Not only do you have to return the taillamps to orginal condition, but in Santa Clara County, this ticket is running about $160. Just so you are aware.

on OB, i'd go with GTR's in Opaque

GTR's FTW...

if you go with the gtr cutouts go with 6/10s. since the gtrs have cutouts the tailights are not as dark as fully smoked, cause light will be able to get into the housings. but on OB i would suggest getting the GTR's in Opaque.
