What kind of wheel is it?

I'm sure you could get it repaired. It seems that a lot of people are bending their wheels especially the inner barrel on 3 piece wheels.

Thanks for the support, everyone.

Leon, that's the weird thing, I don't recall hitting any kind of pothole and I haven't driven the car in almost 2 weeks, so I don't know when or where I bent the rim.

Disco Monkey, as Leon said, the rims are 20" Volk GT-C's. I know that the previous owner, had the wheels repaired previously. Is it still possible to repair rims that have previously been repaired? I'm not sure of the process when it comes to fixing bent wheels.

And then that just brings me back to my original dilemma: if the wheels are repairable, do I have it done, or do I just sell these and suck it up and get the next set of wheels I've been wanting.

P.S. Loc, I'll take you up on the hug at our next meet.

P.S.S. Ver, don't jinx yourself like that!

Sucks Rob. Sorry to hear it bro.

I know how you feel about being on the fence since you really ultimately want the DPEs so why spend money on rims you will eventually sell anyways.

Get a quote from a wheel shop for the repair. Having some numbers in front of you might help you decide what you want to do.

The rim will have to be bent back and polished (luckily you had them all polished before). As well as the tire removed and put back on, then rebalanced.

I bent two of rims already...inner barrel like Chris was mentioning.

Good luck man

If you go to Wheel Techniques, usually for most rim repair (curb rash/bend) they charge around $110 a wheel.

That exactly why I don't daily drive the car. And yet stuff like this still seems unavoidable.

Don't think that one can be trued up So 2 good ones and now 2 bad ones. Guess see what a shop can do for you on both.
G/L bro.
Yep, can't forget about the wobbly rear wheel. Guess I better get some quotes to see what it's gonna cost to repair both wheels.

Thanks, bro. Yeah, something tells me it's gonna be costly to repair. I just need to get some quotes so I can have all the info possible before I decide to either repair these, or sell them and order the next set of wheels.

Thanks for the heads up. Do you happen to have any contact info for them?
