hey robert....
i called california wheels for you.....
they said that they could fix it.....but god only knows how much they are going to be.
he said that if its just a one piece rim (and i dont know if yours is or not), then it might crack once they try and bend it back, so he said he would have to take a look at it to see how bad it is.

surprised that these forged wheels bent. my racing harts have been through hell on oakland streets and elsewhere but they're holding up fine so far *knock on wood*

sucks that it happened, i would also suggest rite-way wheel repair in walnut creek...

Thanks for doing the leg work for me, Melissa. My wheel is a 2 piece wheel, so it wouldn't crack, but yeah California Wheel would probably charge an arm & a leg. I think I'll stay away from there. And that's 2 votes for Wheel Techniques, so I'll have to check them out.

Thanks, bro! At least yours is boxed up in your closet. Mine will have to stay on my car until I get it repaired.

Thank you for the suggestion. I think I'll give Wheel Techniques a try since they are closer to me, but it I guess it won't hurt to get a quote from Rite-Way.

Yea... its pretty crazy... Volks seem to hold up pretty good for 2 piece wheels but all these 3 piece wheels like HRE, iForged, DPE, Work, etc. seem to bend easily. Most of the bends seem to be on the inner barrel so alot of people don't notice it until they work on their car.

Great!

Question for you all: Just how safe is it to be driving around on slightly bent rim?

Rob... I was thinking... you are debating whether or not to fix them, but if you were to sell them and go DPE, wouldn't you need to fix them before selling them? If not, you would probably get all these lowball offers.

Shoot, you know me, Rob . . . I prefer not to test things like that.
