feeler: powdercoating my OEM 19s
so recently i got into an accident. bending the inside of my rear passenger rim (leaking air). went to a professional to get my rims straighten out. they fixed the rim, but the face of the rim has scratches due to clamps and whatever.
i'm thinking about powdercoating them to black and maybe polished lip (cheap way to look 'aftermarket'). powdercoated OEM 19s doesnt look bad though, so i'm willing to try it out.
anyone on the boards from the BAY AREA does powdercoating on the side? or know any professionals that'll do it for a bit less than what the usual price of powdercoating? let me know, thanks.

PM urban. he found a spot doing it for 60/rim I think... it was either him or g35papa (chris). i can't remember....
you need specialized equip to do powdercoating, so you have to go to a specific shop

If you are going to powdercoat/paint them, do not do black with a polished lip, especially considering you have a black car. It will just make it look like you are doing that blacked out look, but in a cheap way.
OEM 19's don't have much of a lip to them, so I wouldn't try to show it off at all. Just my opinion.
