VDC, RAS, SLIP lights on & off for no reason
VDC, RAS, SLIP lights on & off for no reason
Hi,
Over the last couple of months, the VDC, RAS, SLIP lights would come on after I start the car. I turn off the car and turn it back on after counting to 10 (why 10? I don't know). The lights would be off. There is no apparent reason why this is the case. Most people with the similar problem on the forum were either driving hard or had after-market parts put it. My car is stock and I don't do "spirited driving."
Couple of times, after I turn off the engine, it would not start. I count to 10, tap the accelerator a few times (again, no idea why I do this), and it started again with the VDC, RAS, SLIP lights would be off.
I took it to Frontier Infinity and after some diagnostic and a 20-mile test drive, I was told that they found nothing and send me on my "merry" way.
I searched the forum. It would appear the problem is with either sensors or low brake fluid. Wouldn't the dealer find sensor problems on the diagnostic and a simple visual inspection should detect the low brake fluid problem.
Help!!!!
Derek
