Newb in NorCal

What's up guys? Just wanted to drop in and say thanks for the abundance of info on this forum. I'd been lurking for quite a while why I was trying to sell my modded VW GLI as I was looking for the exact car I wanted to replace it with.

I was able to land a 07 PG Journey Sedan with Tech, Nav and the Sport Wheels with 20K miles for $25.5 from a private party. Feel like I practically stole it.

I've had the car a little over a week. Amazing car. Took it for a road trip last week to So Cal for vacation, picked up a set of G37 wheels down there, got home and made some bumper plugs, debadged and had the tint done yesterday. Trying to keep it classy at my old age, but I'm tempted to go with Magnaflows and possibly some Z springs for a mild drop.

Congrats on the find and welcome to the forum! Where in NorCal are you? We do tons of mini meets in the SF Bay Area... at least once a week if not everyday.

Thanks for the welcome guys.

Guess I'll ask the question in here since I can't find the answer anywhere. Does anyone know if the G37 Coupe Springs are the same height as the G35 Coupe Springs? When I bought my wheels, the guy threw in the whole sport suspension package (springs, sways and control arms). In reading up on the Coupe vs Sedan, if they were G35 Coupe springs it would only lower my sedan by .5". I'm looking for a little more if I'm going to do it. Or if anyone in the NorCal section has some OEM sedan springs laying around that I could compare the G37 Coupe ones to, that may help.

Thanks in advance and I'll post up some pics when I take some.

Welcome!
Old age doesn't keep the mod bug away.
Trust me.

Here are a few crappy cell phone pics. I think I might go with Bat's overlays next.

G37 wheels look good on the 07+ sedans, kinda like how the G35 19's look good on 03-06 sedans.

Thanks again Rusty for letting me take a look at your springs and for all the info!!

I think we came to the conclusion that the G37 springs will only lower a sedan 1/2 inch at best.
