Mike: you're gonna want an even slower shutter speed in those pics. first car looks like it's stopped on the side of the road
Matt: Rudy mentioned how to isolate colors, but if you want to isolate subjects there is another way: select the areas you want in color, copy them, gray-scale the picture, make a new layer, and then paste. or you can also gray-scale the picture first, then use the history brush and go over all the areas you want in color.
I'm on a regular monitor now and going over my pics again. the lotus flower pic is way over-saturated. i'm going to redo most of these when i get home

But I could only do so much when I'm driving on the freeway and taking photos at the same time.

Here's some better ones:

I have a Canon 20D.
I think Kyosho does too, but his pictures make me think otherwise.

Yes, 20D here
. are you saying the EXIF is a lie Jake?
i had a brief stint with the 40D (New York), but I haven't found the difference noticeable enough to want to upgrade. I only miss the bigger screen.

thanks Chris. you got pm
i haven't swapped lenses in a while now... my primary is still a 24-70L. i can't even remember the last time i touched the 50mm 1.8... i love primes but i'm just too lazy to run around with a fixed-length lens

Yeah, none of the newer models warrant an upgrade except for a bigger screen, in my opinion. The only one I'd upgrade to is probably the 5D mark I or II just for the low noise at higher ISO's. Too bad that'll render my Tamron 17-50mm useless cause it's made for the APS-C sensors and not full frame.

How much was that tripod that you bought and where can I find one?
